Dear Rick & Donna,
Sorry for your loss. I did not know your Father, but I have known you since you married Donna. Like your father I have always admired your integrity. I see that you did not have to look far for guidance.

We will all miss Sheriff Culbertson. He was a man of honor and integrity. It was my pleasure to serve Jefferson County under his tenure. Earths' loss is certainly heavens gain. May Gods' peace and comfort abound in the families hearts. Sunday, May 13, 2012 |

When I was working at KAYC in the 1970's as a young reporter very few people in Beaumont/Jefferson had the respect that Dick Culbertson did. He was always honest, forthright, and always had something nice to say. After my media years I got to know him again when we both ushered at Trinity UMC. He always displayed integrity, dignity, and respect. Those who know him know how he loved to spin yarns and how to hold a great conversation. For his family, please accept my sincere condolences on the loss of a wonderful husband, great father, and well respected friend. Sunday, May 13, 2012 |
