Paul "Slick" Accardo

Charles Marino (San Antonio, TX)

I have a lot of great memories of Uncle Paul. He was kind, giving, and had a great sense of humor.

My fondest memory is being a bat boy for his Texas Car Market softball team. I was about 8 years old and he would pick me up at our home on Shannon Street, we'd both have on our uniforms, and we'd ride together to the games. He loved the game and I loved being around him and the other players.

I'll miss his fun loving wit and personality. Rest in peace Uncle Paul....we love you.

Mr. Accardo was always jovial and friendly. I met him through a mutual friend and enjoyed chatting with him the few times we got together.

I will always remember him as the man who entertained during the Golden Gators games when he danced to "Don't Mess With My Toot Toot".

Please accept my sympathies in your losing him.
