I was sorry to hear of Dave's passing. I worked for him for several years at Goodyear in Beaumont. He always treated me well.
He gave me my first management job where I learned much from him. He was a great mentor. He taught me how to look at problems and ways to go about solving them. These early lessons served me well throughout my career. Thursday, May 3, 2012 |

Hello to you all, Frank and I wanted to tell you how sorry we are for your loss. But I think that what your dad would want you to know is that he made and left so many wonderful memories with us at the Skul house. I can still hear his voice and his laughter and what a handsome man he was, my Jennifer remembers when he was here for a party, I believe Uncle Lou and Aunt Rose's 50th Anniversary, we were all trying to fit into cars and your dad crawled (tall as he was) into the hatchback of our Suburu with little Jennifer. She has never forgetten him or the laughter they shared. It is not the years we live that counts in this life but the memories we leave behind that keeps us alive for all eternity in the hearts and minds of the ones we love. This I can assure you, his children meant everything to him. We hold you all dear in our hearts and want you to know that you are always welcome to come and see us and are more than welcome to share our home. God Bless you all. Rod, sending our thoughts and prayers to you and your family. Looking forward to visiting and seeing you soon. Your dad was my favorite and always wished we could spend more time but families grow and move on. He was truly loved by all, especially by my mother and father - Auntie Bernie and Uncle Vic Ursick. Our heartfelt sympathies to all. .... Debbie and Jim Wednesday, May 2, 2012 |
