What a gentlman Larry was. I met Larry 15 years ago in the security industry. I learned a few things from Larry but the biggest impression he made was that he was just so kind to everyone. I always looked forward to seeing Larry b/c he was never a loss for words.

Larry was a good guy. Got to know him through our Air Force reunions, and came to be friends. Sort of quiet, but a very interesting person with a wide variety of interests. He will be missed by many. My thoughts and prayers go out to Sue and the family.

Sue, Susan and Family: We felt as though we knew your husband/Dad, even though we never personally met him, after all our conversations during the years at our annual Girls' Canton Trip.
He is in a place so marvelous that we cannot even imagine the joy he is experiencing.
We grieve because we miss them, but what a wonderful thing to have the knowledge that we WILL see them again.
Our prayers are with all of you.

We only knew him through the Karamursel reunions but after meeting him the first time, Larry made you feel that you had known him for a lifetime...It was a joy to renew friendships at each reunion because of his sly smile, his sense of humor and, above all, his sterling character...We will certainly miss Larry but all of us are better having met him and becoming his friend..Our sympathy is with Sue and Larry's entire extended family..We pray that God will be with each of you in your time of grief! Perhaps this poem will serve as a word of comfort especially those who, like Larry were believers--"Do not stand by my grave and weep, I am not there, I do not sleep. I am a thousand winds that blow, I am a diamond glint on the snow. I am the sunlight on unriipened grain, I an the gentle autumn rain. When you awake in the morning hush I am the swift uplifting rush of quiet birds in circled flight, I am the soft starts that shine at night. Do not stand at my grave and cry, I am not there, I did not die" Thursday, April 26, 2012 |
