Dottie has been my friend for many years, starting in the 1st grade at Averill Elem., then Dick Dowling Jr. High and finally Beaumont High School. Dottie was very witty and kept our current domino group laughing and having a good time. I shall miss this lady. I wish for comfort for James, her children and their families. To all of you remember that death leaves a heartache, no one can heal; and love leaves a memory that no one can steal. God needed another angel, and Doffie is now one of His. We will all miss the charm that Dottie brought to this world. My continuous love for the warm gulf waters and delicious seafood gumbo all deeply rooted from a childhood spent visiting Dottie and James. She is now in a better place. Life can be so very fast paced yet fragile. We should all be so lucky to have had someone like Dottie in our lives. Dottie will be greatly missed but will always live in our hearts.

In your time of sorrow I know you agree with we grieve, yet rejoice . . . because now Dottie is healthy and at peace in the Father's arms. Please know my heart is heavy thinking how the domino buddies will miss her charm and witticisms. She supplied so much of our "giggle therapy" ! You and the family will be remembered in my prayers. God bless you all. Sincerely - Dody Monday, April 16, 2012 |
