Ernest "Red" Knight, Sr.
August 4, 1924 - March 20, 2012
Sophie Irby (Groves, TX)

Family of Mr. Knight,
I had the pleasure of getting to know Mr. Knight at the bank. He was the kindest, sweetest man, who always came in with a smile on his face. I enjoyed sitting with him and hearing stories about his many grandchildren, whom he was so very proud of. He loved to share pictures, and told me about holidays where the house was filled with family- and how happy that made him. When Mr. Knight walked through the door, I was always very happy to see him. I also had the pleasure of meeting Mr. Knight's son. I am so sorry for the Knight family's loss- he was a very special person.

To the Ernie Knight families,

Your Dad (Grandpa) was a special person and he brought joy into Mom's life, as she did his. They were blessed to have found each other in their later years. He embraced his "new" family with love and respect. You have our sympathy on your loss.
