You do not know us, but we thought it was important that we shared something with you. We often wonder if while on this earth if we made a difference. Please know your Doug made a difference in at least one child's life. Our son Ty attended Lakeview for the 1st time 2 years ago where he was blessed to have Doug as his camp counselor. This was Ty's first "week" away from home. He acted like the "cool" I get to go to camp kid, but we knew he was more than a little apprehensive. When he came home all he could talk about was the coolest camp counselor "Doug-O-Potamous". Your Doug made a positive impact on Ty's journey with God and we will forever be grateful. Our family will cover you and Doug in prayers during this sad time. Thank you for sharing him with our son for that week!
