Dian, Gayle, & Robin, Can't say how sorry I am that you've lost your Dad. He was one special man and my memory of him goes back almost as far as yours does, as I first met him when I was in kindergarten. His wry sense of humor always made me laugh. When he and Billie were visiting in March of 1983 Larry and I took them touring around the SF peninsula to see all the sights. After a detailed explanation of the fact that we were driving along the San Andreas Fault in the Santa Cruz mountains some time had elapsed and we had moved on to the next tourist attraction. From the back seat of the van comes Frank's voice with the question, "Now, whose fault was it?" He was such a hoot. He will be missed by all. Love, Becky Friday, February 3, 2012 |
