My heart is broken, my mind is hurting, but my soul is rejoicing that my dear friend is no longer suffering and is with God. I can only hope the angel wings don't clash with the bear outfit. Thank you for being my friend. I wish we had been close way back when - but I am so thankful that we connected a few years back.

Although I only knew Carrie for a short time, she touched so many lives and was such a positive and uplifting person. My thoughts and prayers are with the family at this time. Tuesday, November 22, 2011 |

Carrie was always encouraging to me and I admired her fight for this battle. She did not allow pity into it, but seemed to meet it head on. Praying for comfort and peace for the family. Tuesday, November 22, 2011 |

Carrie was my first friend in Beaumont. I met her when I moved to Texas, just two weeks before the start of our freshman year. I didn't know a soul and was terrified by that big school. She was a gift to a scared 13 year old outsider! So kind, so genuine! She helped me more that she could've ever known. Thank you Carrie for being my friend! Tuesday, November 22, 2011 |
