Norma was a great teacher and a very special lady. Over the years our paths crossed ,many times, and we always visited. When she taught at BHS, she was not much older than her students. I was an awful Math student and she invited me to her home on several Saturday mornings to review the week's lessons. She was a dedicated teacher and her students loved her. When I think about her I see her warm smile. Norma was a wonderful influence on the students she taught.
Bruce and I will be out of town Wednesday for a doctors appointment, but our thoughts and prayers are with Norma's family. Jimmie Jay and Bruce Jackson Monday, November 21, 2011 |

I still find Norma's passing adifficult to grasp. She was such a vibrant person who was always full of life and wanting to share that life with so many.

Norma Ruth White taught me at Beaumont High School. Her name was different, but I remember her well. She was a fine teacher and lovely person. She will be missed. God bless all of the friends and family who mourn her loss. Her's was a life well lived. Patricia Connors Nowlin Monday, November 21, 2011 |
