Mrs. Gibson & family,
Our deepest sympathy for you and your family at this time. It is bittersweet. Because we are a selfish people, we want him here with us always, but then, we know where he is now & know that he is whole again & in the most beautiful place that we so often heard him speak of so eloquently. (And don't you know, Brenda was standing there waiting on him with her list of to-do's!)Not only a fine pastor, but a great human being. We all have our favorite memory or story of him that we will treasure in our hearts. Thank you both for the steadfast & inspiring examples you've been to us all.
God's many blessings to your family.

Therese & Rodney Levins (Spurger, TX)

My goodness, no words can even begin to express the feelings much less can they console at this time. Why God choose to take Bro Gibson now is beyond me but for whatever reason I know he was ready and willing to meet his Lord and Savior in heaven. Our prayers and thoughts go out to you Ms. Dorothy and the entire family.
much love from Spurger, Tx.

Lynn Wilcox Rogers (Mesquite, TX)

So sorry to hear about Elvin. Knowing where a person is, in heaven ,is such a comfort. Our prayers are with you and your family. Elvin was such a wonderful person. He was very dear to my Mom, Dorothy Wilcox. Another saint has gone to be with Jesus. It appears that we have more waiting for us in heaven than we ever had before. Don't you know there is great rejoicing going on in heaven.
