Laurie, Amos, Samuel, and Kelly: So many people leave this earth leaving behind so many "If only I had.......". Your husband and father loved life and loved his family. He was a hard worker, a great athlete, a loving husband and father, and a good brother and friend. But I think what I remember about Amos was simply that he was a good man, easy to talk to, and fun to be around.
Know that you are all in my prayers. Friday, October 14, 2011 |

I'm miss my Pike Brother greatly. He and I were pledge brothers in Pi Kappa Alpha at Lamar in 1968 and shared an apartment in Houston for several years after we left college. I'm sad we never got the chance to get back together but Amos was a great friend. I'm truly sorry about his passing. Friday, October 14, 2011 |
