I am sorry that I cannot attend Moodye's funeral service. In Oregon we call these events a Celebration of Life and I think that is appropriate for Moodye. He had a great life and contributed much to his family and community. His obituary did not mention his competence in horsemanship and love of horses, but I do not remember a time when Moodye did not have a horse. The last one that I know of was one of the wild mustangs that he bought at an auction who would come over to him if he walked into the corral. So his horses loved him too as we all did.
