Dear Aunt Margaret, I'm so happy I got to see you this past summer and that you got to meet my girls before going on to be with our Lord. I know that it meant a lot to you that we were able to stop by to see you. I only wish I would have been able to stop by more over the years that I have been away. You have a special place in my heart as both my aunt and my Godmother. I cherish all the great times we had together when I was growing up. You were always there for me. We had so much fun together, going fishing, enjoying the beach and just taking in life. I remember those days as if they were yesterday. God bless you. You will be missed. Monday, October 10, 2011 |

I was so sorry to hear of her passing. She was a dear, sweet lady. She and dad had many good times and made many great memories together. She will be sorely missed by all who knew her. Saturday, October 8, 2011 |

Today you were buried next to your husband and with your family. It has been quite a journey Miss Margie but I would not have wanted to be anywhere else than by your side, as you have been by mine for the past 15 years. You were, and will continue to be the best friend anyone could ever have. I miss you more than words can say. You took a piece of me with you. We came across a listing of the jobs you've held after leaving the convent...Telephone Company- 2 yrs, Dallas Williams - 2 yrs, Dr. Broussard, Orthodontist - 4 mths, Sanitary Chem -4 yrs, United Gas - 1 1/2 yrs, Lamar Univ for teaching degree - 4 yrs, Assumption School - 4 yrs, St. Mary's - over a year, South Park - 2 yrs, Pine Forest Elem in Vidor - 18 yrs, St. Anthony's - 1 yr...American National Bank, sold photographs, and I know that you spent the remainder of your life volunteering at Columbia Hospital, MASH, St. Elizabeth's, Baptist and Buckner Children's Village comforting and helping others. I wish you could have stayed longer, but God needed his angel to come home. I love you so much Margaret. You will forever be a part of me...You will always be my Margie and I will always be your baby girl. Thursday, October 6, 2011 |
