May God give you peace and comfort during this time. I taught David at Lumberton High School. He had a wonderful heart, and I always noticed how he thought of others before himself. I heard from him just a few weeks ago on Facebook, and he was so proud to be serving his country along with his brother. It is always terrible to lose someone so young. May you always remember his special smile and his brave, caring heart. David will be missed.

Although I did not know PFC David Drake personally, I want you to know he was one of mine also.. I want to say thank you for raising such a heroic, and selfless son..
