May God give you peace and comfort during this time. I taught David at Lumberton High School. He had a wonderful heart, and I always noticed how he thought of others before himself. I heard from him just a few weeks ago on Facebook, and he was so proud to be serving his country along with his brother. It is always terrible to lose someone so young. May you always remember his special smile and his brave, caring heart. David will be missed. Saturday, October 1, 2011 |

My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family, for giving your son in the ultimate sacrifice. Words cannot express the feeling of sadness I feel in my heart for David. The only comfort is that David is home with God now. Angela (PODS) Saturday, October 1, 2011 |
