Our prayers and thoughts will be with the Joe Faggard Family. I first met Joe when the Self-Powers Construction Company built part of the Roll Over Pass over 50 years ago in 1958. How exciting it was to live in Gilchrist and High Island. Joe played an important part in nearly every activity in the community. He truly will be remembered as a legend, Christain, kind, considerate and humble man born in France. Remembering our talks and visits frequently over the many years especialy the last five years. Thanks for rolling the time back in history so we could all enjoy the past again. Your stories were awsome and enjoyed by many. We love you Joe. We will remember you forever.
Sincerely yours,
Coach Campbell

I met Mr. Joe Faggard back in the 70's. when i got in a little trouble down at the beach, just boys being boys. Joe had a little talk with us and we then looked at him like a father figure. We became friends and later in years he became a good customer of mine. He will be missed!! "Rest in Peace" Joe.
