I will always remember my talented and wonderful friend, Cleita. She had a musical talent that could only be called exceptional, whether singing or playing the clarinet. There are songs today that I hear and I think of Cleita and our childhood singing together. She was a wonderful, compassionate, and loving person and will be missed terribly by so many of us who loved her. Wednesday, September 28, 2011 |

Our condolences to the family of Cleita Kirkland and our prayers also for all who loved her so much. One of my fondest memories of Cleita was seeing her perform in the East Chambers High School dramatic production of Dark of the Moon when she was a teenager. I will never forget how talented she was. My prayers go out to each of the family members. We will all miss that beautiful smiling face. Cleta was a joy to be around and she was always the same every time you met her. She now has peace and no more pain for she walks with Jesus on this beautiful day. May God comfort all of you and give you peace. Love, Mary Saturday, September 24, 2011 |
