My heart goes out to the Holt family, I met Jack the day we both hired on for Jacobs on 10-04-04, i could sense at that time what a good man he was, and a good friend we became. I really found out about the heart Jack had for others when Hurricane Katrina and Rita hit us in the Beaumont area when he reached out and opened his home and stored there belongings for people he barely knew. I will truely miss you Jack and all of the little one liner jokes you had when we talked. Tuesday, September 6, 2011 |

The dash between November 10, 1952 } - { to September 3, 2011 is the span of a man's time here on God's green Earth.
I knew him as a good, brave man and we'll all miss him. There's accidents and tough dealing in life, he met up with a bad one. I knew Jack briefly during his dash. In my dealings with him he was honest and fairminded. He didn't shirk from hard work. If you found yourself in a tight spot he'd be one you'd be proud to help shoulder you through troubles. It was truly a blessing for me to have had that time with Jack, he was my friend.

Todd and I were deeply sad to hear the news about Jack. He will be truly missed. He was a dear friend and always welcomed us into his home. Our thoughts and prayers go out to his family in their time of need.
