Dad there are so many things to say, I Love you more than you will ever know. You are my rock, my soldier, my mentor, but most importantly you will always be my partner in my life. You have taught me so much. You have given so much to everyone through your journey in life and never asked for anything back in return. I will always remember our time together every time that I catch a fish or go hunting, it was you that taught me everthing that I know about it. It was you who taught me how to work on my own engine or my bike to save money, it was you who taught me how to cook, but may never taste as good as yours. We all watched you fight your battle in the Hospital for two months, and we are so proud of you and even though you may have left doesn't mean that you lost, or gave up it's just that God needed another Angel. I 'm so proud to be your son, and I'm even prouder to call you my DAD. I Love you with all my heart and I will see you later because this isn't good bye. Monday, September 5, 2011 |

I am still in SHOCK that you are gone! You fought so very hard for such a long, long time,, 2 months. You have ALWAYS been my DAD, in every sense of the word.. and have always been there for my kids and me!!! I tried so hard to get you better and out of that hospital,, and I lost that battle... I cannot tell you, now, how sorry I am for that!!! I WANT YOU HOME... AND I WANT YOU HERE... I know that is selfish of me.. and I know you are better in Heaven with Felicia and Aunt Cassie Jo... they met you at the Golden Gate,, I know that for sure!!! I LOVE YOU, JOE HOLLIS... AND YOU ARE FOREVER IN MY HEART AND SOUL!!!!!!!!!!!! Your Daughter... Johnnie Mae Monday, September 5, 2011 |
