Carolyn helped my son in math this past year and was amazing. She and I talked for hours on the phone and laughed and covered many subjects. I liked her so much. She was bright and joyful and warm and kind and fun. She talked with great pride about her Landon and I know she loved him to the depths of her heart. He was lucky to have her as a mom. God bless the family as they grieve such a sad, sudden and tragic loss. Dana Turner Tuesday, September 20, 2011 |

Carolyn, you are such a beautiful person and friend. I loved our chats about life with teenage boys, as well as life in general. I love your sweet southern accent and your contagious joy. I loved how deeply you showed love and concern for Landon...passionately. I loved how you used to hide in the back of the cafeteria to watch Landon play in the worship band because you didn't want to embarrass him...what wonderful love. How very blessed Landon is to have you as his precious mother...how very blessed we all are to have known you. You truly put love into action by the way you showered your family and friends with love. May God wrap you in His loving and perfect arms and fill you with His perfect peace...I love you... My Dear and precious Friend Carolyn, as you pass into another space and time I wish you moombeams to light your path, loft winds for a lovely sail peace and a joyful heart most of all I wish you what you never experienced in your life....The Silver Lining You will be missed by the common woman and man you treated them and gave them respect and dignity. I shall always remember a day in the rain it was such fun thank you for coming into my life on my journey. Perhaps we shall meet again my dear friend.

Carolyn and I only knew each other from working together at the cruise terminals - both in Galveston and Houston but I felt like I've known her forever. It's been a few years since we worked together but we've kept in contact throughout the years. I will miss Carolyn's smile, her laughter and her stories about her family. Please know you are in my prayers. Jean Howerton Saturday, August 27, 2011 |
