Uncle Bob was always the most energetic and fun loving person I know. He had a friendly and joking demeanor, and he always made me smile. I am going to miss him. I loved him very much. Aunt Chris, I love u and my prayers go out to you in this very sad time. You should take comfort in the fact that Uncle Bob was the best uncle a child could ever have, and he lived a great life. He touched a lots of peoples' lives along the way and he will be dearly missed. Wednesday, August 17, 2011 |

Bob always asked how your day was going, and if it wasn't going well, what could make it better. He always called you "young lady" or "dear".And he never attended anything that he wasn't late. We always joked that we would give him an earlier time so he would be there on time. I didn't mind, though, because he would always come. He never met a stranger, and always found something to talk about. His memory was amazing. He just recently told me he remembered the first time he met our family. I didn't even recall it, but he even remembered how many burgers my baby brother ate at one sitting. Butch & I were just laughing about how the shotgun went off & blew a hole in their den ceiling. It scared me to death & my ears rang for an hour. I already miss visiting with him and all of us griping about Obama & the state of things. I loved him & will truly miss him & his laugh. Bob, you have earned your crown in glory. Wear it proudly! There are so many memories I have of uncle Bob I couldnt pick just one. He was a man of many many words, never had anything he couldnt talk about. He will be remembered for his laughter, his jokes, and mostly to me, that "yankee" accent he never lost. I wish I couldve eaten his Cincinnati chili atleast once. I'll be praying for you aunt Chris, Donna, and the whole family. He will be greatly missed but never forgotten. Tuesday, August 16, 2011 |
