She was an inspirational, kind woman and a blessing to those who knew her. Over the decades my father (her first cousin) and other family members had shared wonderful memories of her as well as 1920's-1960's family photos. Her passing is indeed a sad loss to our family as well as her resourcefulness and knowledge of our Coykendall family history. She stayed connected with so many of our large family over her lifetime, and she was loved and appreciated by all. God speed to her immediate family. May Mary "Bitsy" Coykendall Kirk know how much her extended family loved her and may she Rest In Peace! Friday, October 21, 2011 |

I have the privilege of many great memories of Bitsey. She was actually my mother's first cousin, Jean Coykendall Whitney. She was always kind, especially to my daughter Amy and it was obvious how she loved her family dearly. My prayers are with you Danny and Bonnie, as well as with her brothers Roy, Danny, and Art and the extended families of all. Wednesday, August 17, 2011 |
