Lisa was a dear friend, a lovely confidant, and a beautiful woman with so much energy to give. She lived her life with energy, compassion, and humor and she died with courage and grace giving of herself for her baby girl. I had the honor of knowing Lisa through college and into our adult years. She meant so much to me as a friend, a founding sister of our sorority, and as a companion through college.
So many of us will miss Lisa, but we are better for knowing her. Fernando, may you always have comfort knowing that such a wonderful woman is watching over you and Alicia. Please teach her how precious her mother was to her family and friends and she, too, will be a light in this world.
Truly an angel among us, may your light shine through us all.
With love and condolences,
Megan and Kara Schaeffer Monday, July 11, 2011 |

I am so sorry to hear about the passing of Lisa. She was one of the first friends I made going to Trinity High School. I remember her welcoming me from the very beginning. Lisa and her family are in my prayers. Monday, July 11, 2011 |
