Is it possible to have a favorite Petkovsek? Andrew has been in the running for my heart since I was a tot. He and Aline always made the family reunions special, but I love the memories of phone conversations no matter what city or state I lived in at the time. He sincerely listened like no other and made you feel so special in those moments. I am so incredibly thankful for the time I spent with him on my last visit to Texas in January. Oh, how he loved his family and beamed with pride as he brought us up to date on each one, and shared pictures of the beach house Rene has worked so hard on. He has touched our hearts and we are so much better for it. He was an angel on Earth. My love to Aline, Warren, Rene, Paul, Mary, and all of their families. Tuesday, July 5, 2011 |

My sweet grandfather you will be so missed. Words cannot express how much you mean to me. I'll always remember the great stories you would tell about our family, the Beaumont area, and Mobil Oil. Some favorite memories are walking to the canal, watching you with the bee paddle at the beach, cooking holiday meals with you, Sunday afternoon visits, and so much more. Your faith, integrity, spirit, and life are a testament of how a Christ-like man should live. I'm honored to be your grand-daughter and I will love and miss you always. Tuesday, July 5, 2011 |
