I love you Kalyn & did not personally know Steven, but I feel as if I do because of you. Any Man who gave you this much love I adore~ I know God will give you peace & the courage to go on and he will forever be a part of you. I pray Gods strong arms surround you & give you his peace. I also pray the same for his family that they feel Gods love & peace each & every day~ Tuesday, July 5, 2011 |

Kalyn, I have known you a very long time, and my heart is breaking for you. I know people can only pray so much, and I have never prayed so much for something in my entire life. I have been praying for you and Steven's family nonstop. You are like my little sister, Kalyn, and I am always here for you. I love you sweetheart. Tuesday, July 5, 2011 |

To the McShan and Layton families:
Our deepest thoughts, prayers and sympathies go out to each and every one of you. Steven was a great guy from what I hear and I don't doubt that at all. A young man was taken so tragically but without a doubt God received another angel and he will be looking down on each and every one of you.
Kalyn, Steven is going to be your guardian angel. He is going to protect you and guide you in the right direction. You have not lost him for he is still with you in your heart and spirit. I was with your sister when you called her, and it felt so much like a dream. My heart goes out to you and you will continue to be in my prayers. You are an amazing woman and I know Steven has a smile on his face because he knows that you loved him and always will. Please let me know if you need anything. Love you. Tuesday, July 5, 2011 |

It's always a sad thing to lose a friend, but I know I will see you again one day. Although it is hard not to mourn, I will celebrate the life you lived. I miss the times we played poker at Jeremy's house, and the conversations we would have about the most pointless topics. Rest in Peace bro, and thank you for being in my life.
