Dad-We all miss you very much. Wendy, Jason and I have planned our annual fishing trip at Toledo Bend in October. We are staying at the same cabin as last year where we caught all those bass. I know you will be over our shoulders watching us fish the way you taught us all those many years ago in HighLine Cove. I bet your catching all the bass you want with your special Bingo lure up there. When I was 7-8 yrs old I would daily sit and wait for you to get home from work while peering thru my bedroom window. You would bring us a surprise everyday from work. You were the "BEST" father/grandfather anybody could hope for in our family. One day you and I will get to fish together, again. I Love You!!!!

Your daughter (Sugar Hill, GA)

Broken Chain Poem by: Ron Tranmer
Little I knew that morning, God was going to call your name, in life we loved you dearly, in death we do the same. It broke our hearts to lose you, you did not go alone, for part of me went with you, the day God called you home. You left us beautiful memories, your love is our guide and though we cannot see you, you are always by our side. Our family chain is broken, and nothing seems the same, but as God call us one by one, the chain will link again. Little I knew that morning, God was going to call your name, in life we loved you dearly, in death we do the same. It broke our hearts to lose you, you did not go alone, far part of me went with you, the day God called you home. You left us beautiful memories, your love is still our guide, and though we cannot see you, you are always by our side.
Eternal Love,
Your daughter

Mary Ann Harris (Beaumont, TX)

Dear Rita,
My thoughts and prayers are with you during this difficult time and in the days to come. The video is so sweet, revealing a man who loved his family very much. Thankfully, Sam is at peace now but his leaving has left a great big empty place in your family. I pray that as you and your family recall the good times that you shared with your loved one that it will keep him close to you and bring healing to your spirit. With love and prayers, Mary Ann

I am so sorry for your loss. Mr. Bass was always so kind and gracious and treated me just like one of his own kids. He is with my Mom, Dad and the rest of our families now...in the arms of the angels.
Love,
Kayla, Troy and Holly
