She was a very strong lady and a good mother. She had been in a lot of pain and now she is pain-free, what a blessing! Saturday, July 2, 2011 |

Estelene Hill was a talented and unique Christian lady. Her faithfulness to God and His Word was impeccable. I enjoyed her many stories about her life, and also her sense of humor. Saturday, July 2, 2011 |

We called her Aunt Esther, She always accepted us as family. She loved reading and inspired learning. I attended her class in Sabine Pass once to observe, while I was attending Lamar many years ago. My Mom suggested I call her to ask and she quickly invited me to attend. She thought that my desire to become a teacher in Special Education offered many disappointments over shadowed by enormous rewards.

May the warm summer sun shine upon her, may she rest in peace at last. She will be thoughtfully remembered. Reflecting on memories though the years as young people, young parents, single parents, our children, and our visits recounting and sharing the blessings of our lives.

Sis Estelene was a faithful member of the Apostolic Church. When she became homebound and could not attend church, we visited with her, frequently. Visits with her were uplifting in spirit as she shared her life living for the LORD. We loved her very much and will miss visiting with her. Friday, July 1, 2011 |
