Dear Jerry and Mrs. Minyard,
May the God of Grace lift your grief. It is the little things that help us cope with loss. Reading about your Dad brought back a flood of wonderful memories as we were growing up. I remember both your parents working at the bicycle store in Port Neches where I bought my doll that I still have. May your Mom fill her days with the love of her sons and grandchildren. You and your parents have always held a special place in my heart. A big hug for such a wonderful guy at this most difficult time. A special friend who cares. Coach Minyard , Just a Note to say my deepest Respect to you and your Father... Reading about him made me come to the Conclusion that his strong Values and Easy going Nature were passed down to his Son. Just to Let you know, I Teach Science at Liberty Middle School... Not Coaching ... You and Coach Mallory kinda had Something to do with my Teaching kids ... My Prayers and Heart go out to you and your Family... Yours Truly, John Franke
