My deepest sympathy to Steve's wife, children and extended family. I only had the privilege of working with Steve for a short time, but felt as though I knew him for years. What a loss - he will be missed. Tuesday, June 28, 2011 |

Dear Mary and family,
I am so sad to hear that Steve has passed away. I remember our childhood so fondly... the Shoemakers and the Dursos running hand in hand through the neighborhood, climbing trees, playing army, eating snow cones that my Dad made, it was a wonderful time. Steve was my running buddy, and while I'm sorry to hear he has passed on, his memory will live with me forever.
