just got the word when i walked in the door from work. how blessed we were to know him, had many a good day and bad day through the baseball days. i had the pleasure of one jam session with him and dick lemaster in a hotel room at a baseball tourny. he was a good fellow coon-ass. with him and a.j. leger walking together, i can hear them say to st. peter at the gate...laissez les bon temps rouler! then my dad and uncles meet them and say the pit is hot and the water is boiling...did y'all bring the crawfish, brisket, and ribs.
