Dear Pat, Rhonda, Guy and Family: I am so sorry to hear of your loss. A.J. was a wonderful person to have known and worked with. I still tell everyone how he would cook for us every Friday. He made the best crawfish etouffee! He will be truly missed. My thoughts and prayers are with you. Love, Shannon Wednesday, June 1, 2011 |

Aunt Pat and Girls, I was greatly saddened to get the call from Phil saying Uncle A.J. had passed away. I know that he will be greatly missed by all that knew him, but mostly by all of you. My heart is heavy today remembering the times we've spent together and knowing the difficult times ahead for you all. Please know that you are all in my thoughts and prayers and I love you all very much. Wednesday, June 1, 2011 |

I send thoughts and prayers to the Leger Family. I met A.J. in 1968 when Don's Seafood opened "very successfully" here in Beaumont. Being employed at that time by Del Papa Distributing Co. I sold him his first cases of Budweiser and Michelob. He became a great friend of mine and of my Boss, Omera Del Papa Jr. I still enjoy food today at Floyd's and still am with Del Papa Distributing today. A.J. Leger is a very easy name to remember because of it's uniqueness, and matched by his outgoing and fun personality. I've called on lots and lots of good people over the years here at "BUD" and I have to say he was one of the very best. God Bless him and his family at this sorrowful time.
