To the family of Robert Thornell, Sr. I regret that you must suffer this loss. I pray that GOD will help you all heal from the loss of Husband, Father, Marine. I served with MIKE 3/7; 3rd sqd,3rd plt. from 04/68 - 05/69. I carried the PRC-25 radio. I don't recall that Robert and I ever met, Seemed that we were in combat 24/7 and did not know other Marines within our own platoon. Many are known to each other only by nick names. I regret the loss of my fellow Brother MARINE. SEMPER FIDELIS Thursday, April 28, 2011 |

Sheridan, my heart is breaking for your loss. I so wish I could be there. Please know that you and your children will be in my prayers. What a handsome photo in his military uniform and what an honor to have a military funeral. They are not only touching but so reverent. Robert was such a special guy and I know he was so lucky to have you as his wife as you were to have him as your husband. Tuesday, April 19, 2011 |
