Laura said the other day that losing Memaw was like losing her own grandmother. Since Laura's grandmothers died when she was very young, Memaw holds a special place in her heart. Thank you all for sharing your Memaw with Laura. Love, Mollie Massey Thursday, April 7, 2011 |

I have many memories of Carroll Joyce, many from our childhood like the Palm Street watery grave; the summer we took art class from Aunt Margaret; when we got sick from eating too many green pears; all the family reunions; our sleep-overs at Honey's on a pallet of quilts; the 2 story house on McFadden St (I think it was)...w/the little restaurant on the corner; and in more recent years the first cousin reunion at Ruth Lyn's; the do it ourselves Glamour Shots at the lake when we laughed 'til we cried & it was hard to take photographs, and always Carroll Joyce's exquisite needlework. You are in our hearts, Carroll. Rest in peace. Wednesday, April 6, 2011 |

I loved Aunt Carol and have been blessed by her being in my life. All the Barbie clothes she made by hand, all the times she chased Debbie and I around the house to pop us, all the drive-in movies she took us to. These and many more memories will always be with me. I love you Aunt Carol. Tennie Susan Wednesday, April 6, 2011 |

Another one has entered the gates of heaven!! I am praying for the family as they say farewell to your mom on earth, but know that your will all be with her again in heaven. Wednesday, April 6, 2011 |
