Taysie was a wonderful lady whom I had the fortunate of pleasure of working with many times with the Texas Rice Festival in Winnie. She always had a smile, a kind word, and a hug and kiss for me whenever we met to work on the festival. I will always remember Taysie for being passionate about her many years of service to the Winnie area and for being a genuine, energetic and warm and friendly heart with a great sense of humor. You could always count on her for a laugh and for help in any situation. I have many wonderful memories of our times together at the Rice Festival, and when she would come on my show to promote it. She was a genuine person and will truly be missed by her family and many many friends. I will always remember that smile and great sense of humor. Winnie and southeast Texas have truly lost a classy lady. Sunday, April 3, 2011 |
