David and Barry,
I thought the world of your mother. She was an elegant lady and I have fond memories of her. When I would pass through Winnie, I would stop by and sit with her for a few minutes. She did not know me but she would smile as I held her hand and talked to her. Now at long last she is at peace. God bless you and your family.

Geri, Sheila and Barry - One of my fondest memories of Vernie is about her wonderful hamburgers. When we were in High School, me, Geri, and Julie took turns cooking on Fridays at lunch. I was always so excited to go to your house cause we knew Vernie was cooking hamburgers!!! Julie and I usually had to open up a can of tuna or can of Campbells! It was very special that Vernie could be at home and make us a great lunch! We love you guys and you are all in our thoughts and prayers. Sheri and Steven Sunday, March 27, 2011 |
