I'm still recovering from the fact that our dad's youngest brother has gone to the better place. I recall countless occasions when he kidded w/ me as a boy in Pine Ridge, and the times I drove from Sam Houston State to Pine Ridge to visit RG and Jonnie - and enjoy wonderful home cooking! Being so far away here in California, I couldn't get to the funeral, but I know that I will visit his gravesite, and thank the Lord, again, that I knew him. Ken Jordan

I intended to go to the funeral but have been sick. I'm sorry I missed it but love the video posted on this site. My strongest memories of Uncle RG was his kindness and his obvious love of family. He always seemed so happy to see us when we'd come to visit! My prayers are with all of you "children" and your families.
