Marie, such a remarkable lady and example to us all, is - and will be - greatly missed. It is easy to see her wonderful qualities in Rebecca and I am sure her same strength of character is in all her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, as well as the other lives that she touched. Heartfelt prayers go out to one and all during this time of transition. J. D. Logue, Huntsville, TX Tuesday, February 22, 2011 |

Condolences on the passing of the matriarch of your family. What special memories are recalled of Mr. and Mrs. Fleming holding hands and sitting by each other as they drove some kids to a Vidor junior high game, of her always having a cheerful greeting, and making a special contribution to one of her grand children's projects--ever the friend, historian and so full of life. I looked up her middle name as I just saw that it was the same as my mother's, and I found that it meant "pure" and, although Spanish, was a variation of Agnes. Blessing of Peace to all of you who have been touched by her presence. Linda Eastis Cobb Tuesday, February 22, 2011 |
