During the last few years before Mr. Hendrix retired from Mobil Oil I had the opportunity to work at the testing lab where he remains a legend to this day as one of the most learned and fair minded supervisors of all times. He was a friend to all and mentor to most who worked or even were casually associated with the Magnolia / Mobil Oil lab. I am truly honored to have known Mr. Hendrix. My thoughts and prayers are with the family during this time of great loss. Thursday, February 17, 2011 |

I did not know Mr. Hendrix, but am fortunate to call his children dear friends. The fond memories they have and the stories I have heard, combined with the wonderful people each of them have become make me know for sure that he was a special man and the best of fathers. I know each of you was a joy and blessing in his life as surely as he was in yours. Wednesday, February 16, 2011 |
