I will forever think of Mrs. Fowler as my Sunday school teacher. I don't even remember any of the other elementary teachers at Trinity. She always had great lessons and activities for us, but most of all, she let us know she loved us. Every child needs a Mrs. Fowler in his/her life.
I pray for comfort and peace for your family.

Fowler family: I am so sorry for your loss. Having lived across the street from you all on Berkshire for forever, I have many, many fond memories of you all, especially your mother. She was so unique in her own way. One of the lasting memories I will always treasure was when Kammy (sorry Kam, you're still Kammy to me) was in Little League and wanted to practice his pitching. No one in the neighborhood was available to play catch, so your mother put on your catcher's mitt and promptly went outside to play catch with you. The sight of her wearing her customary Hawaiian dress and sandals, squatting in the street as a catcher, and Kammy pitching to her has a special place in my mind. My thoughts and prayers are with you at this time.
Bless you, Kelley Monday, January 31, 2011 |
