Every year at our Merrick reunion, Joe has been my special treat to get to find and hug. I try not to be rude to other cousins as I walked past them to get to sweet Joe. Whether he thought so or not, I felt that we had an understanding of affection for one another. At least, that's the feeling he always lent to me; and I loved him for it. Always will. Thanks for sharing him with me. I'm better for it. Love, Ann Monday, January 31, 2011 |

My relationship with Joe was through business. He was the kindest and most respectfull client that I spoke to. He would call every day at 3:30 and we all looked forward to his calls. Sometimes we would talk business, sometimes not. A lot of times we talked baseball, oh how he loved his Texas Rangers, and disliked my Boston Red Sox, but we remained friends. I miss him very much.
