Linda Alice Land
November 10, 1951 - January 25, 2011
Sybil Carter (Montgomery, AL)

I was deeply saddened to learn of Linda's passing. I loved Linda like a daughter. She was so bright and dependable even as a teenager. I will miss visiting with her on the phone. My prayers are with her family, James and Helen, Judy, and Ed.

Julie Carter Carey (Winston-Salem, NC)

I was deeply saddened to hear of Linda's passing. She was our babysitter and I grew up admiring Linda. She was so patient with us and we thought she was the coolest person on Earth. Linda was a warm, funny, and intelligent friend who will be missed. My thoughts and prayers are with her parents, Judy and Ed.

Austin Roton (Montgomery, AL)

My condolence is extended to Linda's family and friends. She was an inspiration to those attending High School with Her. She was always at the Top of the Class in her spirit and knowledge at our high school. We have all lost a mentor, scholar, but most of all a kind and caring lady who owned the respect from all that had the pleasure of spending their time in her presence.

Chuck and Elisa Little (Beaumont, TX)

We enjoyed knowing Linda for a good many years and many wonderful memories covering that time. If we ever expressed any interest in a particular area or item, Linda either knew many details or she handed us articles the next time we met. She was fun to talk with and was a great story teller, not bound by truth but by interest and humor. She will surely be missed around our table at GTWG and our home.
