Cy Hurst was "legend" in Texas. His dedication to this great country was extraordinary as he served as a soldier, and was a POW, in WWII. Cy Hurst was one of the Texas gentlemen with real class, substance, integrity, humor and served as a mentor and friend to many. RIP, Cy Hurst. Friday, December 3, 2010 |

What a legacy! We are impressed about what we didn't know about Cy, and appreciate having known Cy in his active life. We followed his news stories and especially loved his coverage of the Amelia Little League when they were winners in Beaumont and went to Waco.
We send our love and sympathies to Cy's family, knowing that his life lived here ensures his next Life with our Lord. Friday, December 3, 2010 |
