Regardless of how many years that pass in a person's life or how many people you encounter; you never forget those who touched your life. Heather was one of those people and today I find myself reflecting on those moments from when we were best friends in highschool, to when she held my hand as I delivered my youngest son, and all the many memories in between. The first thought of her that comes to mind is, BIG cheeks, BIG smile, BIG laugh. I hear her laugh in her daughter Marly, I see her smile in her son Easton, and when I look at Colby I am reminded of so many memories when we both started out as mothers. On October 17, 2010 would be the first time and the last time that I would speak to her in almost eight years. For me, it was a tearful hello and a tearful goodbye, but I am thankful that I was able to tell her who she was to me regardless of where our friendship was today. Peace and Love for Heather, for all of her family, and for those whose lives she touched as well.

Hey, Pretty Girl! In life we're only blessed with a few people that we can call a best friend and I'm proud to have been able to call you one of mine. I regret losing touch with you over the years, but getting to see you all but made up for that. I love ya and miss ya, but I've got my memories to keep me smiling. You'll always have a place in my heart.

So sorry for your loss. Becky & James I remember when Heather was born and holding her as a baby. Although I didn't get to know her as she grew up, I have heard a lot about her. She was a beautiful woman. I wish I could have known her better. Please know that you & your families are in my prayers and I love you. Our friendship goes back a long way. There is peace in knowing she is with our Heavenly Father now in his loving arms. I pray this gives you some comfort knowing that.I know she will always be looking down upon her family.May God Bless each and everyone of you.
Love always,
Pattie Caywood Sistrunk
