To Heather's family:
Heather was the most remarkable woman I have ever been privileged to care for. I always felt the presence of the Holy Spirit when I was near her. Her grace and courage, in the face of so much suffering and uncertainty, continues to amaze me. May God pour out that kind of grace on all His people!
Your whole family is very dear to me. I loved to see how well you loved Heather -- she was always surrounded, supported, and encouraged. Even in the midst of really bad times, I could feel the joy you all shared in each other's company, every time I walked into her hospital or clinic room. What a blessing you all were to her.
I was blessed to be one of Heather's doctors, and I will always remember her. May God comfort and keep each of you.

God has regained a true Angel. Heather will help had the silver linings to the clouds. May God bless her family as they go through this trying time. I went to school with Heather and she was a wonderful person. She will live on through her beautiful babies! Friday, November 12, 2010 |
