I want to express my deepest sympathy to Rhonda's whole family. I am so sorry for your loss.
Peter, I pray God will give you and the children strength as you go through this. I know it's hard. Rhonda was a person FULL of personality! She could always make me laugh. I knew when I seen her, I just as well get ready, whatever it was, it was going to be good. She will certainly be missed by all of those who knew her. I look back, and I remember a conversation we shared one day in town- several years ago. She told me something that I will never forget. Just right out of the blue, she said, "Vicky, you are the same every time I see you. You always treat everybody the same. I have never seen you stick your nose up to nobody, and you've always been nice to me, and I just wanted you to know that." You know, we don't know sometimes how our attitude affects others and how it is perceived. You didn't have to wonder with Rhonda, she'd let you know. We can learn from her. We should encourage and be bold with others, let them know what we see good in them... because it does make a difference. That conversation has always stuck with me, and I will forever remember it. I am very blessed that she noticed and thought enough to share it with me. It truly encouraged me. I am so glad to have been able to call her a "Friend,"she will always be remembered in my heart as a genuine person.
