What a loving, devoted, sweet husband. I had the joy of knowing Mr. Coonrod being my Uncle's neighbor & My Dad's neighbor in the Arboretum for a short time. I wish everyone could have seen the devotion that this Man had for his Loving Wife. He would get in his electric scooter & push Mrs. Coonrod in her wheelchair to the dining room then take her back to their room. She was the love of his life. He also had a love for his best friend , his dog. He would take trips to the end of the drive and sit with his dog & watch the Winnie traffic. Friends would honk as they drove by & wave. We are sure gonna miss you Mr.Coonrod at the end of the drive. May God watch over Mrs. Coonrod util God takes her home to be with You. We all miss you. Brenda Bartlett Sunday, October 17, 2010 |
