Liz Curtis (Port Arthur, TX)

Dear Achord Family,
Wes and I are so saddened at your loss. God gave you sixty years with the love of your life, Doris. Your loved one was a true southern gentlemen, and you were so adored. Nancy and Bradley, I know you are grateful for your dad’s guidance as you grew from childhood into adults; Charlie was so proud of both of you. We were able to share some of your loved one in choir and in the quartet in which he sang for so many years. He truly blessed our lives in so many ways. We have missed that tenor! It is so difficult for those of us who are temporarily left behind, but the Father was ready for Charlie to begin Eternity. We are praying for all of you as you make another change in your lives. The last several weeks have modified your lives, and you passed each test.
We love you.
Wes and Liz Curtis

Doris and family; I so wish I could be there with you all at this time. Charlie was one of a kind, a Godly man who lived his life serving his God and his family. My life was enriched by his friendship as was all whose life he touched. I know he's singing now in a heavenly choir and we will all be reunited with him someday. Much love to you all. Lela Gardner

Doris, Nancy, Bradley and family,
We are deeply saddened at the loss of Charlie. He dearly loved Doris and his children. We know he has already joined the heavenly choir as no one enjoyed singing more than Charlie. May God bless each of you as you make adjustments to your loss.
Love,
Perry and Lyn
