Anthony David Gill, Sr.

It's been almost 15 years since I moved away and have seen Anthony and the Gill's. For a period you guys were a big part of my life and I'm forever grateful for how y'all treating me like a member of the family when I'm sure at times I had to be a pain in the butt. Although I primarily hung out with Burt I often remember how much Anthony loved to talk trash, especially when we were playing basketball or football. We truly had some fun together doing that. I was truly saddened when I heard of Anthony's passing and Burt, Barb, Dwayne, Aaron and the rest of the Gill's have been and will always continue to be in our thoughts and prayers. Love you all

It would be impossible to tell you my favorite memory of Anthony because he seems to be in every one I have from the age of 16. His smile and his laugh and that uncanny ability to say something TOTALLY uncalled for (and completely hilarious) that would make any situation less tense. He was my husband for a while but my friend always. He will always hold a special place in my heart. RIP Anthony

Barbara I am so sorry for your loss. Anthony was special in his own way. He was one of my favorite people. I will miss him and I will keep you in my prayers. If you need anything please let me know. Aunt Jean

I can remember when I use to baby sit Anthony. He always had a big bark, but a soft heart. He was always willing to help when you needed him. He always had a BIG smile every time you saw him. He was a Big Boy, and could scare a person with his looks. Me and Anthony went out together one time to the Honky Tonk and you can believe that no one was going to mess with me with him around. I think he knew just about everyone out there, and we had a good time. He was always there when I needed him. I miss him greatly. I will miss that great smile he always had.
