I first met Billie in 1950 carpooling my oldest child Becky with Billie's oldest daughter Dian to Immaculate Conception school for kindergarten when they were both 5 yrs old. I never before or since had such a special friend like Billie. My husband Ernest & I traveled with Billie & Frank to both the East & West coasts on fun & memorable vacations. Ours has been a friendship I can't really describe except to say we loved each other so very much. Frank, Diane, Gaile & Robin and all the family ... my thoughts and prayers are with you. Mr. Roccaforte-- My mother, Mary Delahoussaye, shared a room with Mrs. Roccaforte at Cypress Glen East recently. I am so sorry for your loss. I was always touched by the devotion you and your daughters showed her. Billie must have been a wonderful woman to receive such love and devotion from her family.
Mom always talked about how you would visit with her when you came to see your wife and you were always so nice to my sister and me, too. Thank you so much for your kindness to us.
I believe Billie is in a place now where our prayers for her are no longer necessary. But, I know this will be a big adjustment for you and your daughters and so my prayers will be offered for all of you. Take care of yourself!
With sincere sympathy, Faye Dismukes Tuesday, August 10, 2010 |
