My heart goes out to you, Elaine, and to your family. I never met your father but after reading his obituary, I can see what a very special man he was. You and your family should be very proud of him as I'm sure he was of you. May your many memories of times together keep you going through these difficult days of sadness and adjustment that will follow. I'm here if you want to talk. Love to you. Dear Maurine and family,
It was my great privilege to have had Mr. Plettman as my boss for over thirty years. At first, I, too, was afraid of his "bark", but then I realized he had so much wisdom to offer and was willing to teach me, if I wanted to learn. And I did learn so much about life from him. After he went Of Counsel he became one of my best friends. I enjoyed many chats with him during lunch. I will miss him. I pray that you and your family will find comfort in the many memories you have.
